Case Study - Hire-work Leveling 11 March 2015 David We have recently been approached by a new client to solve an issue that they are having with a component part of their paper printing machine. They had drawn blanks from EN8 material with 4 holes drilled and counter sunk to hold the blades in place. The blades are 4mm x 30mm x 1500mm. In there manufacturing process they found that the blades were not flat enough to meet their requirements. After contacting us to see how we could help, we used our expertise in precision leveling to level the blades to a flatness tolerance of just 0.1mm over the 1500mm length. This was carried out in less than 24 hours from the original inquiry to goods being dispatched!
