They had an urgent requirement for two large surface ground plates of the following tolerances:- Grade O1 Tool Steel: 5mm (+0.05/-0mm) x 470mm (+0.2/-0mm) x 1000mm (+5/-0mm) - Flatness Tolerance 0.2mm per 500mm The flatness tolerance was critical to their requirements as they were to be used in the aerodynamics department. We delivered within 24 hours of receipt of the original inquiry to the standards required.
