Non-magnetic surface grinding 07 July 2015 David In addition to our industry standard range of gauge plate and ground flat stock in O1 tool steel we also offer a precision surface grinding hire work service. Below is an example of a recent service provided. We were recently approached by a client based in Hull who required a non-magnetic stainless steel precision grinding. The plate used in the food industry was 1107mm long x 327mm wide and 15mm thick and needed re-grinding to eliminate some deep surface scratches. Although our machines use magnetic tables to hold the work piece down, our experience in precision surface grinding meant the we were to overcome this problem.
